Rep. Bartlett Tech Fair (November 16, 2001) Hagerstown Community College, Maryland SMART and Congressman Roscoe Bartlett are hosting a "Tech Fair"
at Hagerstown Community College on November 16 from 9:30 - 11:30 am. The purpose
of this fair is to provide a venue for high technology companies, academia and government
agencies located in or near Maryland's 6th Congressional District to network and display their products and services.
HUBS Education Portal Launched! Conestoga High School, PA U.S. Secretary of Education Rod Paige was the guest of honor on October 10 at the public launch of the HUBS Education Portal. Educators, administrators and students from Conestoga High School, Villa Maria Lower Academy, and Norristown School District demonstrated how they use the portal and other HUBS technologies to create an improved learning environment and access additional educational resources. Congressmen Curt Weldon (R-PA) and Joe Hoeffel (D-PA) participated from Washington, DC, via video-conference to demonstrate their support of HUBS education initiatives and their commitment to improving education.
